Nothing leaves your phone
Pebblo works fully offline. It does not ask Android for internet access, so it cannot send your notes, photos or anything else anywhere.
No accounts, ads or tracking
There is no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. Pebblo collects no personal data and shares none.
Locked away
Your notes are stored only on this phone, in an encrypted database. Photos you add are encrypted too. The keys are kept in Android's secure key store. Android's own cloud backup is switched off for Pebblo.
Photos and the camera
Photos come from Android's photo picker or your camera app, so Pebblo never needs access to all your photos or files. Pebblo removes location details from photos it keeps.
Backups
A backup is a file you make yourself and save wherever you choose. You can protect it with a password. Pebblo never uploads it.
Fingerprint and face unlock
Unlocking with your fingerprint or face is handled by Android. Pebblo never sees or stores your fingerprint or face.
Reminders
Reminders are shown as notifications by Android on this phone. You can hide their content.
Stats
Your stats are counted on this phone from your own notes and are never shared.
Links and email
Links in your notes, Rate on Google Play and Send feedback open other apps (your browser, the Play Store, your email app). Those apps have their own privacy policies. Feedback emails contain only what you write, plus Pebblo's and Android's version numbers.
Deleting your notes
Uninstalling Pebblo deletes everything it stored. Notes you move to the trash are deleted for good after the time set in Settings.
Children
Pebblo is suitable for everyone and collects nothing from anyone, children included.
This website
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms or sign-ups. It only remembers whether you chose light or dark mode, and that stays in your own browser. Cloudflare serves the pages and keeps standard technical logs to protect the site.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app and on the web, with a new date. Questions? Write to pebblo@saquibaftab.dev.
